THE YGMRO MEMBERSHIP
To contribute to the global community’s ever-growing need for new knowledge, skills, competencies, and better health and well-being by allowing collaboration across the disciplines of Education, Training, and Development; Social Science, Arts, and Humanities; Language and Literature; Mathematics, Science, Medicine, Engineering, and Technology; and Business, Administration, and Management is an exceptional way to improve the overall quality of life for all people across continents. Practitioners across various fields of interest – both neophytes and experts – are all invited to share their ideas, discoveries, innovations, experiences, and expertise with YGMRO through its international conferences, symposia, webinars, and workshops, and to be involved in the organization.
Individuals and organizations can join in each category on an individual or institutional basis. Individual members may choose from four different levels of membership: Fellow, Executive, Lifetime, or Associate. Individual members who are official representatives of their organizations such as, but not limited to business establishments, educational institutions, specialty hospitals, and training centers are categorized as corporate members of the organization.
MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS AND PRIVILEGES
Parallel to its vision of bringing together from around the world the new players, experts, and game changers across disciplines, professions, businesses, and endeavors, YGMRO deems to discover, promote, and provide platforms for new and innovative ideas and trends that will help humanity and the planet have a better future. This led the organization to having a collection of its still growing research resources that is made available to the public and, at present, free to use via the YGMRO website’s digital library. Most of the YGMRO organization publications, including the conferences and journals, are now freely available on the website. Moreover, YGMRO members are given the exclusive access to research materials that are not generally made available to the general public.
YGMRO membership, based upon the present terms and conditions, entitles its members discounts when attending conferences and other relevant events such as socialization and awards nights. More importantly, qualified members are given the opportunity to be keynote speakers, conference executive committee, guest lecturers, and research presenters. Each member will receive an identification card and a membership certificate in the mail within a few weeks of their application being approved.
MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY / TYPES OF PARTICIPATION IN THE ORGANIZATION
There are different types of memberships in YGMRO because as a professional organization, we give opportunities and welcome those coming from the research community, the academe, and the various fields and industries. Individuals, groups, institutions, and other organizations are all encouraged to apply for membership. Individual members are classified as Fellows, Lifetime, and Associate Members. Institutional Membership encompasses organizations such as companies and educational institutions.
A. Organizational/Institutional Membership
This membership is awarded by YGMRO to organizations or institutions who have contributed or are interested to contribute to global multidisciplinary research and/or academic or professional innovation. As such, the applicant should meet the following requirements:
1. Either nominated by any regular, senior, or executive member of YGMRO or has successfully accomplished the process for self- nomination for organization/institution;
2. Legally operates in the country of origin;
3. Willing to enjoin their workforce to become YGMRO members;
4. Express commitment to participate in widening the professional network of the organization; and,
5. Willing to partner with and send delegates to YGMRO events.
B. Executive Fellowship
This membership is the organization’s highest-ranking type of membership. In addition to being noteworthy individuals, YGMRO awards this rank exclusive to individuals who have distinguished themselves and demonstrated exceptional abilities while making substantial contributions to the global research, academic, and/or professional community. Also, the recipient should meet the following requirements:
1. Invited by any one of the YGMRO Board of Directors, Founding Members, or the CEO;
2. Believed to strengthen and broaden the professional network of the organization;
3. Proven academic and/or professional track record;
4. At least a candidate for a Doctorate degree if not a graduate, or is at least at the middle executive position or its equivalent;
5. At least at the Associate Professorial Lecturer 1 (or its equivalent) or Head/Director position for at least a year;
6. Works for an educational institution, company, or organization as a full- time regular or tenured employee;
7. Has an accredited professional qualification, or a board passer, or registered with professional regulatory/statutory board or its equivalent;
8. Has been a recipient of local, national, or international award or recognition for exemplary contribution or professional service; and,
9. Has been in the specific field of expertise, academic or professional, for at least 10 years.
C. Senior Membership
This membership is awarded by the organization to applicants who have contributed to the global research, academic, and/or professional community.
Also, the recipient should meet the following requirements:
1. Nominated by any one of the Executive Fellows, YGMRO Board of Directors, Founding Members, or the CEO;
2. Able to widen the professional network of the organization;
3. At least has a Master’s degree or is at least at the junior executive or management position or its equivalent;
4. At least at the Assistant Professorial Lecturer 1 (or its equivalent) or supervisory position for at least a year;
5. Works for one of the YGMRO-accredited educational institution, company, or organization as a full-time regular or tenured employee;
6. Has an accredited professional qualification, or a board passer, or registered with professional regulatory/statutory board or its equivalent;
7. Has been a recipient of local, national, or international award or recognition for exemplary contribution or professional service; and,
8. Has been in the specific field of expertise for at least 5 years.
D. Regular Membership
This membership is awarded by the organization to applicants who are interested in contributing research and innovation in academic and/or professional community. Also, the recipient should meet the following requirements:
1. Either nominated by any senior or executive member or has successfully accomplished the self-nomination process;
2. Express commitment to participate in widening the professional network of the organization;
3. At least a graduate of a Bachelor’s degree or any of its training equivalent; and,
4. Works for at least a year.
E. Student Membership
This membership is awarded by the organization to bona fide student applicants who are interested in contributing research and innovation in
academic and/or professional community. Also, the recipient should meet the following requirements:
1. Either nominated by any regular, senior, or executive member or has successfully accomplished the self-nomination process;
2. Bona fide student in the tertiary or senior high school level;
3. Enrolled in the respective school at the time of the application; and,
4. Express commitment to participate in widening the professional network of the organization.
